Adaptation Conservation
Adaptation Conservation is an on-line educational platform to share information and resources to aid conservation of the species, habitats, and environmental benefits that flow out of healthy landscapes. The site is built by and serves the conservation researchers, educators, interpreters, and resource managers as members of the larger landscape-scale conservation community of practice. It is a meeting place and showcase for collaborative conservation.
The site offers to the landscape partnership community an on-line presence to applied conservation researchers and community partners to build awareness of their climate work and share information and results. In addition, the site offers a collaborative workspace to post content and a cloud-based platform to work in private workgroups to promote collaborative conservation activities and studies. The goal is to foster closer communications, awareness, and engagement to further enhance the work of individual efforts, to address challenges that no one individual, project, or agency can achieve alone.
